2021 was a year of both challenges and opportunities. The lithium industry saw significant transformations this year. We, as always, seized the opportunities for development and stayed true to our vision "to created unlimited value by utilizing limited resources". We advanced our management level, global presence, technological innovation, and sustainability, and made remarkable achievements in every aspect.
A new year means a new style, a new pattern, and a new way of thinking about development. We must remain modest, realistic, and practical in our efforts to establish a new benchmark in the lithium industry. We must insist on innovation and transformation in development, strive to create a lithium ecosystem in the international sector, and promote the global transition to a green, low-carbon, and circular economy.
Ganfeng Lithium attaches great importance to the protection of shareholders' rights and interests, and actively maintains close communication with shareholders. In the face of shareholders' inquiries, we give explanations in a timely manner, carefully listen to their opinions and suggestions, and ensure the right to know and the right to speak of small and medium shareholders. In order to prepare for the rapidly changing lithium industry in 2021, the Company focused on risk management and conducted detailed risk assessments using the IATF 16949 management system and the Company's risk management system. The Company hosted a risk assessment kick-off meeting that year to thoroughly discuss the risk assessment process and methods. Risk assessment groups were formed at the headquarters, which were coordinated by the Strategic Investment Department to undertake risk assessments in order to identify current and potential risks to the Company. The assessment results were submitted to the Company's risk assessment team for review. To minimize the Company's risk level and thoroughly develop its risk management and control capabilities, the review team proposed solutions for these risks and implemented risk responses.
In 2021, Ganfeng Lithium launched a targeted and all-out anti-corruption campaign. Ganfeng Lithium adopted a "zerotolerance" approach to corruption by introducing the Management Regulations for Anti-bribery, Anti-Corruption, Anti-fraud and Reporting, the Administrative Measures for Bidding, Negotiated Tendering and Contract Review, the Management Regulations for Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing, and the Management Regulations for Employee Integrity and Self-discipline. It was a decisive anti-corruption battle. We kept to the strategy of anti-corruption starting from the inside in 2021. We developed channels for internal complaints and reporting based on earlier anticorruption achievements, drew more attention and worries, raised the exposure of the issues, and collected anticorruption data on a continual basis. For the first time, we pushed the anti-corruption cause outward by sending/pushing A Letter to Ganfeng Lithium's Good Partners to our suppliers, contractors, and other partners, creating a new model of anti-corruption that features cooperation and joint effects with external suppliers. The Audit Department handled a variety of complaints and reports efficiently, as well as investigated and penalized infractions thanks to these thorough internal and external methods. One by one, issues were solved, and Ganfeng Lithium's better ecology was built.
